First Playoff Game in The Shoe

On December 21st, I had the incredible honor of being part of history as The Ohio State Buckeyes hosted their very first College Football Playoff game in The Shoe! The atmosphere was electric as our team faced off against the Tennessee Volunteers in front of a packed stadium of scarlet.

As a Marketing Intern, I had the opportunity to engage in new promotional activities, including our record-breaking drone show. On this day, I assisted with new Buckeye Experiences, fan giveaways, exciting skits, and our unique hotdog toss.

Witnessing and contributing to such a monumental event was truly unforgettable. From the energy of the crowd to the outstanding performance by the players, every moment was exhilarating.

I’m beyond grateful for the chance to play a role in shaping the fan experience on such a historic night. I can’t wait to see how the team performs throughout the rest of the playoffs  as we step into the new year. Go Bucks!
