As the summer comes to a close, it also marks the end of my marketing internship with Randa Apparel & Accessories in the Dallas Haggar Clothing Co. office. I’ve gained so much over the past 10 weeks and am truly grateful for the opportunity to spend the summer with such a fantastic company.

I am especially thankful for my intern manager Mindy Davis, for her guidance, encouragement, and willingness to share her knowledge with me throughout the summer. I would also like to thank Sarah DurhamAspen Lee, and the entire Creative Services department for being so welcoming and supportive. Their insight and encouragement have helped me grow my skills and given me greater confidence in my abilities moving forward.

One of the highlights of my experience has been contributing to the Haggar Clothing Co. and Pro Football Hall of Fame partnership. In case you didn’t know, Haggar has been the official maker of the PFHOF gold jacket since 1978. Getting to work on a project connected to sports and with an organization that has such a historic legacy was truly exciting. I learned how much strategy and creativity go into managing a sponsorship of this scale, from aligning with the partner’s values to creating experiences that resonate with fans. It was both inspiring and eye-opening to see how a collaboration like this can strengthen a brand’s presence while honoring such an important part of sports history.

As part of the RAA internship program, I completed a summer-long capstone alongside my partner, Fatin Yasin. Our project focused on consumer loyalty and retention, so we chose to create a customer loyalty program that we named CLUB HAGGAR. The goal was to strengthen brand loyalty, increase repeat purchases, and engage customers through exclusive rewards and experiences. We developed the program’s structure, outlined the benefits for members, and identified strategies to promote it to Haggar’s current customers. Presenting our project to company leadership was a highlight of the internship, and it was exciting to see our ideas spark conversation about future brand engagement opportunities.

I’m appreciative for everything I’ve learned throughout my time here, and I am looking forward to applying these skills as I grow in my career. Finally, I’d like to shout-out my fellow interns Arabella ArmondoJosie BuckalewPaige KerstingShaye Stephens, and Fatin Yasin. I’m so thankful to have been part of such an amazing, supportive, and close-knit crew of interns, and I can’t wait to see where their careers take them next!
